INGREDIENTS FOR 7 KG OF CUCUMBERS For the marinade: 5.6 liters of water 600 ml of 9% vinegar 250–280 g of pickling salt, about 14–15 tablespoons of grated honey 11 tablespoons of honey or about 250 g 10 cloves of garlic 3 tablespoons of peppercorns 8 bay leaves 7 dill sprigs Thyme, to taste 2 tablespoons of mustard seeds per jar Sliced ​​carrot, optional PREPARATION Wash the cucumbers very well and prepare clean and sterilized jars. Put the water in a large pot, add the vinegar, salt, honey, garlic, peppercorns and bay leaves. Stir and bring the marinade to a boil. Blanch the cucumbers in the hot marinade for about 1 minute, then place them in the jars as tightly as possible. Add dill, thyme, mustard seeds and, optionally, carrot slices to each jar. Pour the hot marinade over the cucumbers until they are completely covered. Immediately close the jars with clean lids and let them cool slowly, wrapped in a blanket.
