Let’s just say this “work trip” handed us our butts. 🙃 We underestimated everything—but give up, we did not. We laughed at our mistakes (and wow, there were a lot). We’re still new to this whole off-grid cabin thing, but every wild idea and failed attempt comes with a lesson… and honestly, that was half the fun. We headed back to Canada to: 1. Fix the floating dock (kind of). 2. Figure out the lake water system (eventually). 3. Explore the area with the kids (nailed it). Was it perfect? Nope. Was it a success? Absolutely. We worked hard, laughed harder, soaked up the sunshine, and made some core memories we’ll never forget.
