Staffing Ratios NOW! NDP reads 1028 petitions from Ontarians

To ensure health care for all, Ontario must stop health care privatization and implement mandatory safe staffing ratios. Across the province ONA members are collecting petitions to show growing support for this demand. Last week, the Ontario NDP read more than 1028 petitions into the Legislature, demanding that Premier Doug Ford and Health Minister Sylvia Jones introduce nurse-to-patient staffing ratios in all health-care settings. MPPs from all of Ontario’s opposition parties are in support of this call for staffing ratios, and it’s time for the conservative government to take action on this issue! #StaffingRatiosNow
