Vincent Esmiol, à la veille du MIUT
Vincent Esmiol will start the MIUT on Friday evening in the Legend 110km race. At just 29 years old, Vincent is still relatively new to trail running, but he has already made a name for himself. In 2024, he achieved a solid 6th place in the Diagonale des Fous, before taking a significant step forward in 2025 by winning L’Échappée Belle and setting a new course record, previously held by François D’Haene. A new recruit for Kiprun at the start of this season, he arrives in Madeira to get back into the swing of things, test his fitness, and continue building towards his major goals for the year. The Frenchman could well be one of the surprises of this weekend. His next race on the schedule is the 90km Mont-Blanc, before returning to the Diagonale des Fous later on. An interview conducted by Julien Gilleron for this third installment. Cime Studio Production Directed by Flavien Abbate and Matthias Carpentier
