Chip Whistler: How Big City Greens Builds a "Real" Disney Villain

In a time where it feels like Disney and Pixar films are straying away from villains with Ralph Breaks the Internet, Onward and Soul, the television department is stepping up their game with villains such as Bill Cipher, Emperor Belos and Toffee. However I want to focus on the antagonist of Big City Greens, Chip Whistler, and how the show built up a villain that feels real, while checking off the classic checkmarks. The show does a great job of showing parallels between Cricket and Chip! We're going to cover his arc throughout episodes such as Feud Fight, Friend Con, Reckoning Ball, Chipwrecked and Chipocalypse now, while speculating on his future!
