Preseason Friendly - vs Edinburgh University - 11/07/2026

3rd preseason friendly!!! Hawick Royal Albert took on a premier league side in Edinburgh University, who even though it's summer have a very strong side and proved this during the game. Both sides looked sharp early doors and the university side took an early 2-0 lead. This seemed to send a spark through the visitors and Hawick then took control of the game. Both sides played very good football on a very very good surface, however the visitors proved to be too strong in the end and ran out comfortable 6-2 winners. Hawick takes on another premier league side in Dunbar on Tuesday night which again will prove a very tough test.
