Perfect Fishing Weather at Lake Toho | Why Won't They BITE?

We had perfect fishing weather at Lake Toho. So, why won't they bite? It's August, and it's supposed to be uncomfortably HOT. On this day, however, it wasn't. We had a good breeze, some cloud cover, and it was below 100 degrees?? Perfect Bass fishing weather. Or, at least about as close to perfect as you're gonna get during the middle of summer. The fish didn't agree. Not sure why. Maybe it was our approach, but we struggled to put 8 small Bass in the boat. We caught all of our fish on a speed worm. The speed worm is definitely not my favorite lure to throw, but it can produce some bites on a tough day. For as tough as the bite was, Evan and his Dad (Todd) did a great job!
