6/30/26. Old Farts Tournament Lake Hernando Florida. Miserably hot day with little wind. I could not get a Topwater bite on the Evergreen SB77.7 or the SB105. Finally dug out my trusty ‪@GamblerLures‬ EZ Swimmer and started catching them in the lily pads. Had a small limit by 9:30 and kept plugging away trying to get rid of a little 1/2 pound fish (Florida has no minimum length limit and Old Farts actually has a small fish pot). About 11:45 threw about 40’ into the pads and started dragging the EZ Swimmer over the pads and letting it drop into little openings and this big girl smashed it. Made my day and gave me the win and big bass Air Temp 76°-97° Water Temp 88.4°-90.8° Partly Cloudy at take off to Mostly Cloudy later. Had some thunder rumbling Winds Dead Calm to N 4mph
