Mozart Bassoon Concerto in Bb, K 191, Second Movement, performed by Matthew Angus, Bassoon

Performed with the Melbourne Sinfonia in March 2026, Matthew Angus performs the second movement of the Bassoon Concerto in Bb, K191. This work was composed by W. A. Mozart when he was 19 years old. Matthew's lyrical playing and expanded cadenza are highlights of this performance. The Melbourne Sinfonia is conducted by Joannes Roose and Anne Martoni is the Concert Master. This performance was recorded on the lands of the Wurundjeri Nation in the City of Melbourne (Naarm). Matthew performs on his 11,000 series Heckel bassoon and is using a reed made by Alex Lenkov.
