The weather won… so I'm retreating to the greenhouse

This one starts with future Eli stepping in, because the day didn’t go exactly to plan. The fruit cage is finally ready, so this is the first proper planting on the plot. Blueberries have come up from the wee garden at home, and I’m planting both summer and autumn fruiting raspberries. I talk through how the fruit cage beds are laid out, what the blueberries need, and what the raspberries don’t, and there’s also a realistic look at what it’s been like getting new ground ready with wind, rain, frozen soil, and docks that refuse to shift. Part way through, I realised the raspberry situation is not what I thought it was, filming stops, and plans change. That’s just how it’s been up there lately. The fruit is in, the fruit cage is finally doing what it’s meant to do, and things are starting to move forward.
