The Petyhorcy were light cavalry originating from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, serving in the army of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Their name probably comes from Mount Petychor in the Caucasus, from where the ancestors of many soldiers were recruited. The Petyhorcy fought mainly as fast cavalry for reconnaissance, flanking and pursuit tasks, combining elements of eastern and western tactics. Their weapons included light lances, sabres and bows, and eventually also flintlock pistols. Some of the graphics were borrowed from Wikipedia and other publicly available sources on the Internet.
