Watch as our talented team at Juniata Locomotive Shop brings NS 4851 to life! From start to finish, the process took 10 carmen painters, 450 hours, and 77 gallons of paint to complete. 😱 Here are a few more facts about the TAG Heritage Unit: ▪️ Built by Juniata Locomotive Shop ▪️ Hand-painted logos – No decals here! Masking for the logos was carefully cut by Juniata’s stencil room. ▪️ #16 of 20 DC to AC rebuilds in 2024 ▪️ Donor unit: NS 9583 (originally built in 2000) A huge thank you to our Juniata team for making this legacy locomotive a reality. The craftsmanship and skill shine through in every detail! 🚂 ✨
