Hashima Island: Located on the island commonly known as "Battleship Island," is Building 30, Japan's oldest reinforced concrete (RC) high-rise apartment building. Even after the mine closed, it continued to stand unnoticed, exposed to the raging forces of nature. A major collapse occurred between March 26th and 27th, 2020, leaving it standing precariously.
