Ravensburg (D - BW) Die Glocken der Stadtpfarrkirche Christkönig

This video presents the bells c1-e1-g1-a1-c2 [do3 -mi3 -sol3 -la3 -do4] of Christchurch in Ravensburg, southern Germany. ➥ New bells were already realised for the new Christchurch when it was built in 1952. The Gebhard foundry from Kempten, which was very popular in the Schussental at the time, initially cast the smaller bells [2+3+4+5]. In 1964, Gebhard then cast the large bell [1] as a new foundation, which today is the second deepest bell in the city of Ravensburg. Supported by the concrete acoustics, the bells create an impressive sound effect in the enormous tower hall. The ringing around the church is also very striking and sonorous, although it is not quite as loud as one might expect at first glance. At the time of recording, the controls of the smaller #bells were fitted with faulty components. As a result, they take an extremely long time to reach their ringing height.
