On July 26, 2007, in the Church of San Marco in Florence, a group of scholars and investigators opened a coffin that had remained sealed for centuries. Inside were two bodies: that of the poet Girolamo Benivieni and that of Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, the famous Renaissance philosopher who died under mysterious circumstances at the age of 32. A friend and perhaps lover of Benivieni, Pico was one of the most unconventional intellectuals of the 15th century. But was his death truly natural, or was it murder with arsenic? In this video, we retrace his life, his revolutionary theories, and above all, the mystery of his death: an enigma that has remained unsolved for over five hundred years.
