Learning to make POTTERY in Bhaktapur, Nepal

During our visit to Bhaktapur, an ancient city next to Kathmandu famous for its medieval art and architecture. At the end of our walk, we arrived at Potter's Square. The whole square was full of pottery drying in the sun. A lady was dipping each piece in color once they were dry. We then walked to a little stand where a potter was at work. It was so amazing to watch, it was even more amazing once he invited all 3 kids to try making their own piece of pottery. We love these unplanned and unexpected moments that happen as we go. As we were leaving, we found the only potter that uses the bigger wheel, check out how he works, it is very impressive!!!
