9 am Sermon 7 June 2026 Knowing Christ Found in him Philippians 3

Series: Paul’s Letter to the Philippians – Living the Way of Jesus Knowing Christ: Found in him Readings: Philippians 3:7-14 Preacher: Kevin Kim In a world that encourages us to build our identity through achievement, success, relationships, and self-expression, many people still find themselves searching for meaning, purpose, and a secure sense of who they are. In Philippians 3, the Apostle Paul reflects on a dramatic change in his life. Everything he once considered valuable—his accomplishments, status, reputation, and religious credentials—was transformed by one reality: knowing Jesus Christ. Yet Paul’s desire was not simply to know about Christ. His deepest longing was to be found in Him. Rather than grounding his identity in what he had achieved, Paul discovered a new identity rooted in the grace and righteousness of Christ. This message explores what it means to truly know Christ, to find our deepest identity in Him, and to live as pilgrims continually pressing on toward Him. In a culture often focused on self-discovery, Paul offers a different invitation: not to find ourselves within ourselves, but to be found in Christ. Join us as we reflect on the question: Where do we truly find ourselves?
