How to apply oil to worktop guide: Step 1: Clean the surface. Step 2: Lightly sand using your sandpaper. Step 3: Wipe off any dust with microfibre cloth. Step 4: Give the oil a stir with your paint stirrer. Step 5: Apply the top oil thinly and evenly following the grain using the ProDec brush. Step 6: Wipe off any excess with the microfibre cloth. Step 7: Leave the top oil to dry for 4 hours. Step 8: Lightly sand with the Woodleys Finishing Pad. Step 9: Apply your second coat of top oil and leave to dry.
