New security camera footage may help police clarify the murder of Rayane Lins Faria Campos, 38, and Leonardo de Oliveira Campos, 42, found dead inside a condominium in Ponte Alta (DF). The recording, which also captures audio, shows the moments when the couple was clearing the land where they planned to build a house to live with their six-year-old daughter. According to the investigation, the video captured the sound of the brush cutter used by the victims and then a gunshot. The equipment reportedly stopped immediately after the gunshot. Following this, a woman can be heard screaming before a second shot. Police are considering the possibility that Leonardo was hit first and that Rayane was shot after witnessing the attack on her husband. The couple's bodies were found the morning after the crime, this Friday (17). The main suspect is their neighbor, Evandro Gabriel Ferreira, 60, who was arrested by the police.
