In this prep vlog, we explore a crucial step in the process—my first carb load—but what really caught my attention was a real twist. My coach made me a truly indecent proposal, an unexpected folly that drastically changes our schedule: we're moving up our first race of the season. Seeing the weeks leading up to the stage change and the weeks off at the start shorten was truly shocking, but analyzing the situation, I realized it's a true sign of destiny. My first race of the year will fall exactly on my grandfather's birthday, the most important person in my life who supported me from the beginning of this journey and who, sadly, is no longer with us today. This coincidence transforms the anxiety of anticipating the deadline into a steely motivation, because now I know I'll step onto that stage to keep a promise and dedicate every single moment of this competition to him, on his special day.
