Beechwood Gardens: O novo bairro da Cidade Praiana ficou SENSACIONAL!

Welcome back to another episode of our Cities Skylines 2 journey! In today's video, we're expanding our beloved Beach Town by building a new planned neighborhood from scratch. Named Beechwood Gardens, the entire project was developed completely without mods, showing that it's possible to create an incredible, realistic, and functional city by fully exploring the native simulation tools that Paradox Interactive brought to the game. During construction, we focused on balanced mixed-use zoning and the application of smart urban policies to shape citizen behavior from the start. You'll follow our step-by-step mobility strategy, spreading parking areas, bike paths, and organizing the complex of essential services—such as health, education, and funeral services—to ensure that the new community is born 100% self-sufficient and happy. But not everything is rosy in urban management, and the highlight of the episode is a true traffic engineering challenge! We faced significant bottlenecks on the downhill section of the highway and had to devise creative solutions to overcome the flaws in the drivers' artificial intelligence. See how removing traffic lights, creating pedestrian overpasses, and changing to one-way streets saved the flow of traffic on the main avenue.
