Happy Pride Month to all the queer besties, you know I love you down, so I had to finally cover this highly requested episode, that may or may not be a queer episode; I'll let you determine that fact for yourself. Season 9 Episode 12, Omar & Iris is one of the most shocking Catfish episodes for absolutely all of the wrong reasons. Usually you feel for the person being catfished, and there's an endless well of empathy and compassion for them, but not this time. Omar initially comes off genuine, sincere and very likeable. However, as the episode progresses, the truth is revealed and his persona definitely comes off more of an act than anything else. While it was obvious from the beginning that Omar was being catfished, who he is being catfished came as a complete shock. Nev and Kamie were definitely caught off guard, but that didn't stop them from trying to hold the wrongdoers accountable for their actions. This is one of the few episodes where both hosts refuse to sweep wrong doing under the rug by and I am so here for it.
