The Maize line: A solid Single Corner variation
The Single Corner is arguably the most popular checkers opening to play, and for good reason. It's well-balanced, has a tremendous amount of scope, and is usually how most players are introduced to the game. In this video, I focus on the Maize line within the Single Corner opening. It's a solid variation that has been around for more than 100 years, yet is not seen as much in either online or professional play. There is a lot of interesting play within the Maize line, so I recommend trying it out in your own games -- you may enjoy it!
