The Slip Cross: a departure from a traditional opening
The Slip Cross is a fun and unique checkers opening that unfortunately is seldom seen at the highest levels in the modern game. Although the white side has an advantage, there are still plenty of tricks and traps that red can set. Winning opportunities are at play for both sides, and seeing some of the positions and tactics in this video might encourage you to try this opening in your own games. Many thanks to Gary Pollard for sharing his amazing art pieces with the channel!
