A special cake for its flavor, its contents, and above all, its ease of making, with a final result that invites you to make it again and again. Ingredients for 8 servings 4 regular-sized apples, preferably red (they're sweeter) 150 grams butter = 8 tablespoons 180 grams sugar = 10 tablespoons 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 large eggs 2.5 cups self-rising wheat flour = 350 grams = 18 tablespoons 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon Juice of 1 lemon 2 tablespoons sugar Confectioner's sugar to taste 1 22 or 24 cm diameter baking pan, greased with butter and flour. Line the bottom with parchment paper if possible. Preparation: Peel 2 apples, cut into small cubes, add the lemon juice to prevent browning and give them a special flavor. Add the 2 tablespoons of sugar and a teaspoon of cinnamon, mix well, and set aside. Take the other 2 apples with their skin on, cut them into chunks, and place them in the blender. Add the 3 eggs, 180g of sugar, and melted butter to the apples in the blender, and blend everything until smooth. In a bowl, add the sifted flour and the sifted yeast. Pour the mixture you made in the blender over the flour and mix well with a wooden spoon. Drain the apple through a sieve to remove the liquid and place half of the apple on the bottom of the pan, spreading it out evenly to cover it. Dip the other half of the apple in flour and add it to the batter, mixing just a little. Pour the batter into the pan, spread it out so it's straight, and bake in a preheated oven for about 60 minutes at 180°C. Remove from the oven and place it on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon, if desired, and enjoy.
