[Gangnam Central Church] Sunday Worship Sermon Video, June 7, 2026 Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4:14-17 (P.267 / Daily Bible P.123) Sermon Title: Be a Father, Not Guardians Preacher: Senior Pastor Chan-young Jang Today's Message - As we listen to the sermon, let us meditate on the following questions. Today's message is the final text from Genesis that we have been meditating on, concerning the death of Joseph. It may feel a bit regrettable and puzzling. However, considering that Genesis is a condensed version of the entire Bible and viewed from a redemptive-historical perspective of "Creation - Fall - Salvation," we can see that "the death of Joseph, the son" is not an end, but the beginning of a new salvation. In other words, it is an amazing message that Jacob, his sons, and all his descendants receive salvation "thanks to the death of Joseph, the son," who is a type of Jesus Christ. Therefore, in today's passage, we meditate on three things that are confirmed thanks to His death. 1. First, we have received confirmation of forgiveness ‘thanks to the death of Joseph, His Son’ (15-19, Eph 2:1, 4-5, Rom 8:1). “Have you been forgiven?” 2. Second, we have received confirmation of love ‘thanks to the death of Joseph, His Son’ (20-21, Rom 5:8, 1 John 4:9-10). “Do you not doubt His love?” 3.
