Cycling Karangahake Gorge | Hauraki Rail Trail

Kakarangahake Gorge, located between Paeroa and Waihi is said to be the most scenic section of the Hauraki Rail Trail and it's been on our bucket list for a while now. This 7km section of track boasts some pretty beautiful scenery, 2 old bridges and an old railway tunnel that is just over 1 kilometer long! Join us in this weeks video as we depart from Waikino, cycling through the gorge and taking a look at the incredible mining history along the way.
