Winter Plein Air - Using Derwent Inktense & Faber Castell Graphite Pencils

This was a cold one, but a beautiful place to paint - the Newtownabbey Way in County Antrim, NI. I used Faber Castell soluble graphite pencils first and then after that my Derwent Inktense Indian ink watercolour pencil on my oddly shaped sketchbook with slightly creamy paper. I’d love to tell you more but it was a random purchase in TK / TJ Maxx! I used my flat brush with a watercolour reservoir which had actually partially frozen… Hope you enjoy this one!
