Founded in 1904, the establishment has spanned generations, hosted important figures in Curitiba's history, and recently reopened after a long period of closure. But the question was simple: does all this tradition still make sense today? Our experience began in the heart of downtown Curitiba, where we sampled some of the restaurant's most famous dishes, including the renowned Carne de Onça (raw beef dish), the traditional Rollmops (marinated sardines), the unusual breaded alligator tail, as well as Parmigiana, bean soup, and pudding.
