Matheus Cunha, with his Bundesliga experience, opened the scoring with a quickfire double in the 23rd and 36th minutes, setting up a deserved but largely uninspiring 3-0 win. Vinicius Júnior added the third goal in first-half stoppage time (45+3). Scotland – Morocco Morocco has taken a big step towards the round of 32. Man of the match was Ismael Saibari. The striker, who is reportedly set to join Bayern Munich from Eindhoven, put the North Africans ahead 1-0 in the second minute – and was the driving force throughout the match. Scotland offered little resistance for much of the game, and even though they improved in the final stages, the Moroccan victory was never seriously threatened.
