MERAPOH RAINFOREST TRAIL RUN 3.0 2024

This year the most runners participated in 55 km with a total of 600 strong numbers. Surprisingly, there was heavy rain in the middle of the night. This make more difficult to run and river crossing. With the long road,muddy and high raise of river water make it extremely hard for new runners especially hikers. I do enjoy 2 km river walk but disappointed with muddy. I had to stop at Checkpoint 5 (38.8 km) due to sharp pain on my left ankle. I had push myself hard to CP 5 and judge with the momentum I walk it don't make sense for me to walk all the way to finishing lines. Very lucky as there was no swollen or fracture on my left ankle. Trust me, I will make a comeback next year edition as the video stop at CP5. I miss CP 6 that more adventure towards the finishing lines such like another river crossing with strong current and Caves. Thank For Watching!
