Today we tried this great, affordable weekend menu at this long-established bar and restaurant in Villabona. It boasts a river running through its grounds, a children's play area, a terrace, a picnic area, and, above all, excellent home-style cooking. This particular menu featured traditional Asturian dishes, including Asturian stew, fish soup, cachopo (breaded and fried veal or pork cutlet), tripe, and lamb, with rice pudding for dessert... all for 22 euros, a very reasonable price for such good home-cooked food. The service is also very friendly, and the children's play area is perfect if you're traveling with kids, as they can play and have some fun on the trampoline.
