Patch Ideas for Chord Oscillators (Plaits, Braids, Ensemble Oscillator)

In today's video I explore patch ideas for chord oscillators in Eurorack. Chord oscillators can generate full harmonic textures from a single module, making them a powerful tool for pads, drones, and layered harmonic sounds in modular synthesis. In this video I demonstrate patch examples using three different Eurorack modules: • Mutable Instruments Plaits • Mutable Instruments Braids • 4ms Ensemble Oscillator Each oscillator has its own approach to generating chords, so I explore how they behave in patches and how they can be used musically inside a modular system. At the end of the video I combine all three oscillators together into a single patch to see what happens when they are layered.
