I Hiked Wales' Hardest Trail Above the Clouds | Welsh 3000s Challenge

In this video, I attempt the Welsh 3000s (the hardest day hike in Wales) for the fourth time, aiming to complete the entire challenge in under 9 hours. What started as a physical test turned into the best day of hiking I have ever had and trekking above a cloud inversion from sunrise to sunset. The Welsh 3000s challenge involves summiting all 15 mountains in Wales over 3,000ft within 24 hours. The route cuts through the heart of Snowdonia National Park, crossing three major mountain ranges: the Snowdon Massif (including Crib Goch), the Glyderau, and the Carneddau. 🥾 HIKE STATS & DETAILS: • The Challenge: Summit all 15 peaks within 24 hours (time starts at the first peak). • Official Distance: 38-40km with over 3,000m of elevation gain. • My Stats: I covered over 53km and nearly 3,800m of elevation. • Conditions: 9/15 peaks were above the clouds!
