Unheard Raag: Shuddha Pilu Thumri. Pt. Bhimsen Joshi. Soch Samajh Nadan

A rare raag Concert was held at Lauzanne in Switzerland in January 1990. The "Times of India" group had completed 150 years and therefore this concert was arranged. Pt. Bhimsen Joshi sang numerous short unheard and rare compositions including Raag Shahana Bahar, Raag Shuddha Piloo and Raag Bhairav Bhatiyar in Khamaj Thaat. The lyrics of this Shuddha Pilu Thumri is as follows- Soch samajh nadan Aashiq ho kar sona kya re ? Jis nagari mein daya dharam nahi Uss nagari mein rehna kya re ?
