Morning concert, Bhimsen Joshi, 1971 Sawai Gandharva Festival

Bhimsen Joshi sings Gurjari Todi ('Samajh man gorakh dhandha', followed by 'Begun gun gave'), Jogiya ('Piya ke milan ki aas') and concludes his recital with 'Teertha Vitthal', then newly composed by Ram Phatak. He is accompanied by Pu La Deshpande on the harmonium and Chandrakant Kamat on the tabla. The other accompanists are not known. The recording is possibly incomplete (there may have been a piece between the Todi and Jogiya), although it tallies with the program description available on the official website of the Festival.
