Heavy Rock Train Eases Down Batavia Hill, 2 Rock Trains With Most Rock Cars Ever Seen!! EMD Music

Rock Train Has To Get Out Of Way For Loaded Rock Train! Most Rock Cars Ever On One Train Going Down The Big Hill Into Batavia Ohio On The Cincinnati Eastern Railroad. I was coming back from getting my teeth worked on and got lucky to catch the first rock train at a railroad crossing in Milford, Ohio. The train had been unloading rock from the main line along Round Bottom Road in Milford. This train was led by an SD40-2 and was moving out of the way for the second train to pass. After I filmed this train at the Beechwood railroad crossing I show the area where the rock trains are unloaded. On The way I show a brand new roundabout that just opened the day before. The Channel 9 News WCPO did a segment on the new roundabout in Batavia. They were telling how it would be safer and reduce auto accidents. Their video showed a truck using it and going the wrong way up an entrance. I thought that was pretty funny. That short clip is in the video. Then we head to Afton Yard to look for the second train. I arrived in Afton to find the train doing some railroad switching. They pulled up past the crossing and then reversed. They were completing the building of their train and were ready to head west to Clare Yard and their office. I decided to leave here and catch them at the top of the hill at Summit Road. At Summit Road we see the train ease down the hill with two GP15-1 units. Look how long that train was! That was a lot of rock cars and the most I think I have seen on the same train. I counted 20 loads and 11 empties. The empties are being moved to the west end for repairs. Next, we go to downtown Batavia, Ohio to catch the train crossing the bridge over Main Street. I got the other side of the train this time. Those EMD locomotives sound awesome! It turns out that I miscounted the number of cars on the train by one. How many cars did you count? I let my neighbour use a few acres of my land because his farm doesn't have good grass. He helped me replace the fences and I let him use the land.
