After living and traveling in a compact van, we decided to take a different step: trading it in for a much larger motorhome in Los Angeles. Was it an upgrade… or too much for what we're used to? In this video, we show you how we returned our rental van, picked up the motorhome from some friends in Mexico, and began to discover how the experience changes when the space is no longer the same. Before making the switch, we visited our friends at the Buena Vida Route channel to share a conversation about life on the road, decisions, and experiences as travelers. We ended the day with a special dinner, and the next day we started driving this new motorhome back to our base to put it to the test in real life: handling, interior space, and everyday tasks like laundry. Is a motorhome better than a van? Or does the size completely change the experience?
