Should you upgrade your backpacking tent? Backpacking tents are costing more and more so upgrading your tent requires some serious thought. What are you getting for the extra cost? You need to decide what sort of tent camping you want to do. Are you going wild camping? Are you going throughout the year in all weathers? 1 person tents and 2 person tents vary massively.
