A Very Rainy Night in the MSR Elixir 2 | My Thoughts on The Tent

A Very Rainy Night in the MSR Elixir 2 I spent a rainy day and night in the MSR Elixir 2 tent which is a very popular and reasonable entry level tent in the MSR range. It is a very liveable shelter which I hope to have conveyed throughout the video and was a pleasant and relaxing space to sit out the bad weather in. I cook some nice locally produced burgers and enjoy some fine craft beers whilst relaxing in the tent. As evening drew in, it was time to light the kerosene lamp and listen to mysterious and scary tales from the Deborah Hatswell 'BBR Investigations' podcast. I've camped in the Elixir 2 before and enjoyed a spectacular sunset on the West Pennine Moors:    • UK Moorland Wild Camping in the MSR Elixir...   Overall, I really like the MSR Elixir 2 which I believe offers great value for money. Similar to their Access range, it is inner pitch first. Whilst some people find this a barrier to our often wet UK weather conditions, you can overcome this aspect by practicing pitching which can be done in a matter of minutes and I always take a pack towel on my camps anyway.
