Undocking A SeaBus at Point Hope Maritime!

Filmed inside Point Hope Maritime in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, this authentic documentary-style shipyard story follows the TransLink SeaBus Burrard Chinook as she prepares to return to the water after just over two months on the hard for refit. Set inside Victoria’s oldest operating shipyard, this video captures a rare nighttime transfer, including the turntable, spur line, cradle, float off, and tugboat assistance alongside. With real shipyard sounds, low-light conditions, and genuine behind-the-scenes access, this is a closer look at the skill, teamwork, and precision behind a working shipyard after dark. I want to take a moment to acknowledge that this footage was captured on the unceded territory of the Lekwungen people of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations. I donate 10% of my YouTube AdSense revenue to local charitable organizations, and that’s something I hold very close to my heart. So far on my YouTube journey to the end of 2025, I’ve earned $5,700 and have been able to make five contributions of $114.00 each.
