In my old building, the installation height was important, so I used the screed-free system from Blanke. It consists of EPS insulation with bonded aluminum heat-conducting plates and special decoupling mats that replace the screed. Tiles can be laid directly on top. The total installation height with tiles is then 5 cm above the concrete slab. Part 2 covers the installation of the pipes. I'm using aluminum composite pipes.
