Cabin Trip - 1500 miles

Early Morning Start, Family Time & Cabin Chores – 1,500 Miles in One Week! It was 4:30am Sunday when I hit the road toward my daughter’s new home in Michigan. I spent a few great days there—her birthday was this week, so I was glad to be part of the celebration. I kept filming to a minimum out of respect for their privacy, but I did capture a few moments: their chicken flock laying fresh eggs, and some delicious sourdough bread my daughter baked for me to take home. By Wednesday, I was back in the Jeep Trailhawk and heading north to the cabin. Arrived late afternoon, had a quiet dinner, and settled in. Thursday kicked off with some light camp chores—clearing branches from the clover field after road work up on the mountain. Swapped out game camera batteries and added a few more—now running seven in total. Wrapped up the day with a well-earned dinner: filet Mignon, broccoli, rice, and salad. That evening, I sat out on the deck, shared a few thoughts on why I haven’t posted many videos this year, and enjoyed my one beer for the week. Friday was for painting, finishing up the cams, and a quick trip into town. Tried (and probably failed) to keep a mouse out of the shed—but you’ve got to try, right? Saturday morning marked the end of a 1,500-mile week. Thanks for tagging along—hope you enjoy the video!
