Baitarani River Jajpur | Odisha Flood | Odia News Today | Jajpur News The first flood of the season in the Baitarani river system has caused two massive breaches in the right embankment of the Kani River near Kantapada, under Jajpur's Dasarathapur block. The breaches, measuring 50 feet and 30 feet wide, have led to floodwaters gushing into hundreds of hectares of farmlands across Mallikapur, Duduraanta, Susua, Mangalpur, and Kanikapada panchayats. Low-lying villages are partially submerged, causing panic.
