"Words alone cannot convey the truth." This is what I wanted to convey today. When we listen to someone's story, we tend to create our own narratives, including parts we don't know, thinking, "It must be like this." The person speaking knows 100%. But sometimes, we, the listeners, only know 10%. We fill in the remaining 90% with our own experiences and assumptions. And with that constructed narrative, we may end up feeling sad, suffering, or depressed. In reality, there may be things we still don't know. Just thinking that can lighten our hearts a little. Words alone cannot convey the truth.
