In June 1989 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Cindy James, a forty-four-year-old nurse was found drugged, bound and strangled in a yard of an abandoned house. It would seem she had been murdered by a person she had claimed for years was stalking her and who the police had spent many hours investigating. But, was she murdered? Or was there never a stalker and she staged a bizarre crime scene as a murder? If she did, did she intend to die or was it an accident when she overdid the act? Or was it a fanciful suicide?
