From Seed to Table: The Art of Cooking With Wheat

Welcome to the very first Premiere of New Leaf Foods' latest project: Food for Health: an educational project that brings together local experts on nutrition, biology, gardening, sustainable agriculture, cooking, and community health to share how the food we grow, prepare and enjoy impacts lifelong health. We will discover not only how good food can improve our personal health but also how it can enhance community well-being and regenerate land, air and water for generations to come. Our fist entry into Food For Health is "The Whole Wheat Story in Four Courses" which is a we will explore the value and quality of wheat and its remarkable story through the lens of history, nutrition, agriculture, culinary arts, and health. This is our fourth and final talk in the series titled "From Seed to Table: The Art of Cooking With Wheat." In this live demonstration, registered dietician, Michelle Nowak, shares some of her healthy recipes and what makes them special. This talk was presented live at the Brown County Central Library.
