The Ngurah Rai Immigration Office has successfully apprehended two foreign nationals (WNA) suspected of being involved in an indecent video that went viral on social media and various digital platforms. The two foreign nationals, identified as MMJ (23), a woman from France, and NBS (24), a man from Italy. Both were apprehended by officers at the Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) as they were about to depart for Thailand via I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport. The arrests began with an investigation by the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Team (Inteldakim) into MMJ's movements on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was known to have moved up his departure from March 14, 2026, to France via Singapore, to March 13, 2026, bound for Thailand. Officers also found indications of an attempt to circumvent the inspection. This was evident from MMJ's Instagram Story post on the same date, which appeared to show him at Patong Beach, Phuket, Thailand. Based on these suspicions, officers immediately conducted a search in the international departure area and found MMJ with a man with the initials NBS, who was suspected of being involved in the production of the pornographic video.
