Search Strategies for data.census.gov

In this screencast I demonstrate a couple of strategies for using data.census.gov at https://data.census.gov/cedsci/, the Census Bureau's primary application for exploring and accessing contemporary census data. My suggested roadmap: use the advanced search and apply filters to specify the survey, time period, geography, and topic to narrow down the vast number of data tables to a manageable set that you can browse and download. I demonstrate how to use this advanced search roadmap at the outset, and then we step back and I illustrate how to casually search and browse for data. I cover basic US census concepts in the first video in this series:    • Exploring US Census Data: Basic Concepts  .
