In the seventies and early eighties, Walt Disney Productions were experimenting with adult fare, and Something Wicked This Way Comes ranks as one of the darkest movies the studio ever made, at least before opening Touchstone Pictures the year after this came out. Based on the novel by Ray Bradbury, this starred Jonathan Pryce as a carnival leader named Mr. Dark, who visits a small town in Illinois during the thirties and tempts the residence.
